Apparently, I have been tagged by Craig. I am supposed to write 5 things I "dig" about Jesus. So, here goes...

5. Josh always tells me the first will be last, and the last will be first. Have you ever been picked last for teams in PE class? It's an awful feeling. I have always been small for my age, so I have been chosen close to last quite a few times. I think Jesus might choose me first!

4. When I think about Jesus, I like to think of him as my friend I can always count on. Even though I can't see him and sometimes can't even "feel" him, I just know he is there.

3. Jesus always makes good things come out of bad things. When my dad died, it was REALLY bad, but good things have happened to me that never would have. My grandfather came back, and I got to meet people in my mom's family that I had never met. Oh, and we never would have come to UBC - the best church ever.

2. I just finished reading "Heidi" by Johanna Spyri - again. When Heidi comes back from Frankfurt, she talks to her grandpa about faith in God. The grandfather's faith has been really weak, but Heidi's is strong. He asks her if once one has forgotten about God if he can ever be a son to him again. Heidi tells him that once one has forgotten, God lets them go their own way, but when they are ready he is always there to forgive them and take them back. How cool is that?

Finally, the best thing about Jesus is:

1. He never asked me to make a list about the 5 things I "dig" about him! It seems like just loving him is enough.
