1. I recently had the honor of performing in an All-Region Band clinic and concert. It was a lot of work but rewarding all the same.
2.Thanksgiving came and went and I spent it with my family as usual. Our turkey was alive until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Isn't that crazy? We got it at the World Hunger Farm. I am glad he didn't have a name. Shane wasted all of his. I think it gave him a stomach ache to think about eating the giblet gravy. We went to the movie and saw "Deck the Halls." I thought it was funny.
3.I took the SAT. It was hard but I think I did ok. The math section was a killer but I didn't think the language sections were difficult.
4. I have been preparing for Christmas, and I am excited to say that my shopping is done. Not that I had much shopping to do, and, for that matter, much money but I got something for my mom and Shane.
5. I feel like crap. I have had a cold for a week. It just won't go away. I stayed home from school today and probably will tomorrow, too. Josh wanted me to post something, so I am making this sacrifice just for him.
6. The Rockin' Rockets, our high school football team, won another game last week. That means they are two games closer to winning the state championship. Shane is excited, and so am I. They are playing in New Braunfels this Friday, so I bet we won't go. Shane is in band, though, so he has to go on the bus. Go, Rockets!
7. I ate tofu for the first time ever. It was kind of weird. Interesting but weird. It was kind of spongy and like a McDonalds fake egg. It wasn't terrible, though. I might eat it again but only if Quang from the Clay Pot makes it. I don't even know if that is how you spell his name, but we went there with my Papa Jon and Poey because he is their friend.
8. I finally got to see Robert at church again. He looks awesome even though he had heart surgery. I have missed him, so I am glad he was back.
Don't I have an exciting life?

Yes, and you make life extremely exciting for the rest of us!
Thanks for the compliment on my blog. As good as a writer you are, the chances of you getting published are much greater than mine. Keep at it, it's great!
Hannah Gun,
whatever you don't know what to write about!!!

Thanks for the shout, baby. You looked awesome too and it was great to be back at church AND standing up. EAT HEALTHY is all I can say. Also, see An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore (if your mom will let you view stuff made by Democrats) regarding Global Warming. This stuff is right up your alley since you're inheriting the world us "older" folks will leave behind one day. Be an activist. Be strong. Be true.
Love ya,
RobertD
Hey H:
Your mom told me you got in trouble for giving me your opinion on my blog about the recycling which I thought was perfectly ok. I love different points of view so don't sweat it. Look, have you ever read Carney's blog - Geesh, first of all one needs a dictionary to even know what he's saying not to mention his point of view (which is wack anyway....BUT WE STILL LOVE 'EM JUS' THE WAY HE IS.....)
pEACE!
