Mid Terms

It is almost Christmas break, and anyone in school knows what that means: mid terms. Yuck! In my opinion mid terms are even worse than finals. After finals you go straight into summer, and then by the time you are back in school you are in a new grade with new subjects and new teachers. After mid terms you get two weeks off and then you go back to do the same thing with no change whatsoever. I don't see the point in the tests anyway. We already take chapter tests and six weeks tests. We have already learned the material and taken separate tests over each unit. Then they have to torture us even more by giving huge tests over everything. And I think they enjoy it.

I agree with you H. They do enjoy torturing you b/c it means they can slack off and not come up with any more creative ways of nourishing your love for life-long learning. (Don't tell your mom I said anything negative about school. After all, you do have 3 months vacation for summer).

Be strong. Be an advocate. Be true!
